Nour Zaki is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Aside from teaching, Zaki is also a researcher in the field of developmental psychology. Her Attachment Lab at AUC focuses on lifespan development, perinatal psychology, and parent-child attachment relationships.

Her doctoral dissertation tied her interests by exploring how expecting mothers’ own attachment backgrounds color their transition to becoming mothers themselves. Zaki is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH).

She is also a participating member of the Nancy and Ronald Rohner Center for the Study of Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection (IPART). She is also a registered facilitator of Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) from Circle of Security International and Bringing Baby Home (BBH) program from the Gottman Institute.
